Welcome to Attached at the Root

Embrace Your Story, Deepen Self Awareness

At Attached at the Root, there’s no pressure to have it all figured out—we’re all just learning as we go.

These educational, non-clinical consultations are a chance to slow down, get curious about yourself, and maybe even appreciate the parts you’ve been too hard on.

It’s not about perfection—it’s about understanding, self-kindness, and making space for growth, one step at a time.

Because around here, progress is the only goal—and every bit of it counts.

Founder, Attached at the Root

Hi, I’m Rosanne—I hold a BA in Human Services, am a certified CYC-P (Child and Youth Care Practitioner), and am currently completing a Master’s in Counseling Psychology to further my clinical training. I didn’t always know where my profession would take me. Life's twists, pivots, and humbling lessons have helped me navigate good and not-so-good relationships, building new friendships and grieving others, raising twins, supporting my child through cancer, losing my best friend, and going through divorce. Somewhere in all that chaos, I found my purpose: helping others make sense of patterns, find steady ground, and feel more at home with themselves. Over the past 20 years, I’ve worked in schools, clinical settings, and communities as a counselor, facilitator, and emotional support coach. Attached at the Root is the result of all of it—my work, my lived experience, and my belief that the past doesn’t have to decide the future. Healing doesn’t have to be heavy all the time. And we don’t have to do it alone. Let’s untangle some stuff, from the root down.

The Baobab tree, also known as the Tree of Life, has deep roots that keep it steady even in the toughest environments. As it matures, the Baobab becomes a life-giver, offering shelter, water, and nourishment to everything around it.

Life isn’t just about surviving—it’s about finding strength in our roots, and growing through challenges.

Progress not perfection.
